Season Analysis: Season 2 was much more consistent than the first, pretty much averaging a 1.4. The show started well with a 1.6 for "Mind the Baby", carrying across the viewers from the season 1 finale. After dipping all the way to 1.1, the season low for one of the best episodes "The Way We Weren't", following the break the show bounced back for "Home on the Remains" then levelled off at 1.2. The "Look at the Princess" trilogy saw the ratings grow from 1.4 for Part 1 to 1.6 for Part 3. Staying at this level for "Beware of Dog", the highest rating of the season came for the controversial but excellent "Won't Get Fooled Again". Levelling off again, the ratings then grew for the "Liars, Guns and Money" trilogy, peaking at 1.6 for Parts 2 and 3, but then unfortunately dipped 0.4 for the finale to 1.2. Again it's a shame the season finale gained the joint second lowest rating of the season, considering it's one of the best episodes the show has to offer.

Season Analysis: Farscape got off to a good start in the US, with a consistently good 1.3 rating for the first 3 episodes. It dipped gradually for the next few, getting to "Thank God It's Friday. Again." where it scored a 0.9, which is the joint lowest rating ever with "I, E.T.". Since then the show has never slipped below a 1.0, which is a good thing. After the inevitable break, the summer run began to a great start with "That Old Black Magic", which gained the highest rating so far. The ratings pretty much levelled off around 1.3, save for the spike for "They've Got a Secret" which was the highest rated episode of the season. A dip occurred for "Rhapsody in Blue", but two weeks later bounced back for "Jeremiah Crichton" (no idea why though). Again the ratings levelled off, bar a dip to the lowest point since the first six episode's run at 1.0 for "The Hidden Memory", ironically a great episode. They then peaked at 1.6 for the finale "Family Ties", which gained the second highest rating of the season.
