Virginia Hey has been cast in an upcoming TV movie / pilot for a new TV series. “Area 23” centers around a group of elite government commando types with paranormal abilities. Virginia will play Nini Draconni, aka “Perceptor.” A ‘projecting telepath,’ she can create illusions of one’s fears or desires in one’s mind. She’s also a martial artist, magician, escape artist and a mercenary thief-for hire.

From the website’s description, it’s hard to say if Virginia’s character is a good guy or a bad guy (or maybe some of both), but whichever it is, it sure looks to be interesting and a far cry from the priestly Zhaan. We wish Virginia well … and of course, we’ll be watching!
