SciFi delay season 3 finale / Season 4 start date
by Dani Moure - Friday, October 26th 2001

Category: Old News

Though it's somewhat old news now, SciFi announced earlier this week that they will be broadcasting the final four episodes of season 3 in March or April 2002. This breaks from what was expected, and what has happened the past two seasons, where SciFi aired the episodes in January (incidentally, it's worth noting that SciFi never did announce this season's final four would air in January 2002, it was just what everyone expected).

In addition, they announced that season 4 will debut in June 2002. This should mean (although it's unconfirmed) that we will see a longer run of new episodes over the summer. Incidentally, there are a number of reasons for the late start, most notable of which is that production will actually begin later than usual (they would have been filming by now in previous years) due to the delay in announcing the renewal of the show for two further seasons (4 and 5).
