2 More Rallies Planned: Atlanta and L.A.
by Mary Wood - Friday, September 13th 2002

Category: Future Farscape

AtlantaScapers are planning to head to Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 14th and will head from there to CNN Studios. As CNN Headline News' Renay San Miguel ("HotWired") has been following this fan campaign, it seems a logical place for the organized AtlantaScapers to meet publicly to show their support of the show and get word out to the public. Contact lisawebster1@yahoo.com for more information.

Saturday, September 21st, there will be a rally outside Vivendi offices (owners of USA channel and SciFi) at Universal City Walk. Scapers will be meeting at 11:30am at the Hard Rock Cafe to head over there. Contact Farscaper555@hotmail.com for information and to let them know you're interested. Try and make plans early. Folks are being asked to contact Farscaper555 by Thursday so they can get a rough headcount. But if you get the news/day off work/make plans at the last minute, by all means, go anyway!

And of course, do contact your local media to help ensure coverage of these and other Scaper events.
