|Back from Burbank after lots of fun and plenty of hints...|

Sorry for not posting a bit sooner, but anyone who has done the 8 hour trip from the west coast USA back home will know that it really takes it out of you. Anyhow, I'm back and rested now, and everyone else made it back safe, too.
For those wondering, yes, we'll have full coverage of the convention soon, both in terms of panels and, I'm sure, plenty of write-ups from us all (much like last year). But as a bit of an appetiser, this year's Official Farscape Convention in Burbank was fantastic. It really was great fun, far more so than last year.
I really, really need to send a big "thank you" to the folks at Creation, who have been listening to feedback and really made huge leaps in the right direction this year. The atmosphere was far friendlier and more fan-oriented, there was no cattle-prodding that I could see (even in the autograph and photo lines), and not everyone was treated like a psycho-fan. It was nice and relaxed, and everyone involved seemed to be enjoying themselves. Which was great, as that is the point of the con. So again, Creation needs a huge round of thanks, and get one from me, for the changes they made this year.
All the guests were wonderful, and it was great to see a big gang this year. From a personal standpoint, the guests I went to meet, I got to meet, so it was great. Everyone was natural and had great fun on stage. It was also good for me to get to see some people I've never seen on stage before.
But the best thing this year was getting to spend time with my friends. I not only got to say "hi" to several people, but I got to converse plenty with many, too, which was the main reason I went. So great, great fun on that front.
There were, of course, also the obligatory hints dropped about the rumours. As Rockne O'Bannon said, if there's ever a time to read between the lines... Well, we'll talk about that in a separate news piece. But for now, that's all you'll get. I'll try to get my report done as soon as I can. Catching up from a week away is... strange.
