SFX Magazine covers the cancellation
by Dani Moure - Friday, October 18th 2002

Category: Future Farscape

The latest issue of SFX Magazine (#97 - Nov 2002) includes a four page news spread on the cancellation of Farscape. Claudia Black takes the cover with the headline "Who Killed Farscape?" In the newspiece, they cover the events surrounding the cancellation, and analyse who may have been responsible. There's also information on who to contact, and the first word from Claudia Black on the cancellation. Here's a brief excerpt of her comments:

"I was sitting in the make-up chair about to film my last scene for the season when I received a phone call. It turned out that that would be my last scene ever. People came into the bus talking about the news. It was then announced by Andrew Prowse at lunch time. The minute I saw Brian Henson I burst into tears. Farscape was his child. He had been up all night desperately trying to save it. And he had been let down."

Read the rest of Claudia Black's comments, as well as reviews for the last three episodes aired in the US thus far, in issue #97 of SFX, out now priced 3.50. Click here for subscription and ordering information.

In addition, the next issue (#98 - Dec 2002), available November 1st, includes Gigi Edgley talking about how she found out about the cancellation, and her reaction to the news.
