"Bringing Home the Beacon" airs tonight in the UK - coverage soon and poll, "Terra Firma" poll results
by Dani Moure - Monday, January 27th 2003

Category: Old News

Don't forget, "Bringing Home the Beacon" is about to air in the UK on BBC TWO tonight. We already have our poll up on the right hand side of the main page, so please vote in it once you've seen the episode. You can discuss the episode in the "Bringing Home the Beacon" discussion thread on the forum.

Look for images tonight, with a synopsis and review to come tomorrow.

We also still have the poll for last week's US airing of "Twice Shy" up - if you have yet to vote for that episode, please do. That poll will close soon.

As for the poll for "Terra Firma", it looks like an astounding "thumbs up" for this episode; the whole team and writer Ricky Manning should be proud. Of the 628 people who voted, 71% rated the episode 5 out of 5. That's one of our highest percentages ever. A mere 6% rated it less than 4. The full results are:

Outstanding (5/5) - 448 votes - 71%
Great (4/5) - 139 votes - 22%
Good (3/5) - 34 votes - 5%
Disappointing, but so-so (2/5) - 5 votes - 1%
Rubbish (1/5) - 2 votes - 0%
