Write even more letters, and a campaign poll
by Dani Moure - Saturday, February 1st 2003

Category: Future Farscape

So did you enjoy last night's episode? Well, even if you didn't, everyone around the world should know that no one is giving up on saving the show. We're going to keep posting SaveFarscape.com's To-Do lists each week, to hopefully give you some incentive after watching a new episode (if you're in the US), or just serve as a reminder to urge you to keep writing. They're also far more on top of things than I.

So, from Friday's To-Do list:

"If you're reading this, please take a moment to fill out the Campaign Participation poll. Let everyone know what you are doing in the campaign.

Speaking of participation, we really can't stress enough that these letters more important than they may appear. Anecdotally, we seem to have lots and lots of new viewers, but that increase is not showing up on the Nielsens. If everyone who downloaded the documentary wrote just one letter every week, that would be 2,500 letters. Each letter = 1000 viewers in the minds of the execs. That's 2,500,000 viewers. There's our 2.0.

Think about it.

If you are new to Farscape or new to the campaign, we especially need letters from you. Tell them all about the ep you've just seen, and how glad you are to have discovered this wonderful show. Be polite, be courteous, and don't forget to supply your demographics -- gender, age, occupation, income. Handwritten letters are best, though you can send the same letter to each of the names below.

It's been a while since we poked UPN or Showtime and next week's episode is an excellent one to nudge them to have a look at. Let's remind them we're still here.
