UK DVD 4.2 and first wave of US Season 3 DVDs released

Yesterday, Contender video release the second double DVD box set of season 4 in the UK. Included in the set are five more episodes - "Natural Election," "John Quixote," "I Shrink Therefore I Am," "A Prefect Murder" and "Coup by Clam." The episodes are presented in anamorphic widescreen with DD 5.1 sound. Extras include Deleted Scenes, Specially commissioned interview with Claudia Black, Visual Effects crew featurette, Behind-The-Scenes Episode Facts, Gallery of Stills, Farscape Swearing featurette: learn how to curse in alien language. Look for a review of the set once I get my grubby hands on it.

Also, today, ADV Films released the first wave of their release of the third season of Farscape.

DVD Set 3.1, retailing at $39.98, includes the first four episodes - "Season of Death", "Suns and Lovers" and Self Inflicted Wounds, Part 1: "Could'a, Would'a, Should'a" and Part 2: "Wait for the Wheel". Extras include Commentary on "Self Inflicted Wounds Part 2", Aliens Encountered, Updated character histories for Crichton, Aeryn, and Zhaan, Sets, props and costumes, Official episode synopses.
