Sci Fi Wire
recently posted their ratings confirmation for "Bad Timing," the season finale which aired Friday, 21st March.
The final Farscape episode (for now) drew a 1.4 (up 0.2) to come fifth in a particularly strong week for the network. The 1.4 is the highest rating in this run of episodes that began with a 1.3 for "Kansas" in January, and is only bettered by "Unrealized Reality," (billed as the "season finale" by Sci Fi) last August (with a 1.5) and the season four premiere "Crichton Kicks" last June (with a 1.6).
Sci Fi Friday stablemate Stargate SG-1
rated a 1.8 (up 0.1) to come fourth for the week, and while strong this rating is perhaps a little disappointing for the season finale (with other episodes this run having equalled or bettered it). This was, of course, the spill-over from the previous week, with a big ratings bonanza for Sci Fi, as their latest epic mini-series Children of Dune
continued. The second episode won the week with a somewhat disappointing 2.3 (down 0.5 from episode 1), with the final episode drawing a 2.1 to come third for the week. The movie Riverworld
drew a 2.2 to come second for the week.
The rerun of "Bad Timing" at midnight rated a 1.0, up 0.2 from the previous week.
