ADV Films have officially announced the release date for the eagerly anticipated Farscape season 2 DVD Box Set. The complete set will street on October 28th carrying an MSRP of $149.98. It will contain all ten discs from season 2, with extras including deleted scenes, audio commentaries, The Farscape Dictionary, actor biographies, main character back stories, Aliens Encountered, Weapons and Ships, and Alien Races. See the individual disc listings in our Merchandise Release Dates section for more details on extras.

Today is also the street date in the US for the next five episodes in the third season, in Season 3 DVD Set 3.4, which carries an MSRP of $39.98. Extras include a commentary for "The Choice" by Claudia Black, an Anthony Simcoe interview. Full specs and cover art can be found by clicking the link above, or by heading over to our Merchandise Release Section.

Don't forget, you can buy this DVD now in the US DVD Section of the Farscape World Store.

In other news, the Chicago Tribune has an article up about Farscape, relating to the Save Farscape campaign, which includes comments from fans at ScaperCon, as well as Brian Henson and Anthony Simcoe, along with producers of other cancelled shows. It's a really positive read, however you will need to register (for free) to be able to read it. Click here to read the article.

Don't forget that tomorrow we'll be posting the next part of Robyn Bender's "Talyn Suite" series of Fan Fiction, so check back for that.
