ADV Films have announced the release of the first season 3 edition of the Starburst DVDs.

The four-disc set (note the change from two double sided DVDs to four cingle sided ones) of Starburst Edition 3.1 retails at $24.98 and includes the first seven episodes of the season: "Season of Death", "Suns and Lovers", Self-Inflicted Wounds, Part 1: "Could'a, Would'a, Should'a" and Part 2: "Wait for the Wheel", "...Different Destinations", "Eat Me" and "Thanks for Sharing".

Extras on the set include brand new interview with Virginia Hey (Zhaan) exclusively recorded for this set, in which she discsses her departure from the series; behind the scenes interviews with Claudia Black (Aeryn Sun) and Anthony Simcoe (D'Argo); interviews with composer Guy Gross discussing the new opening theme for the season, and his score for "Eat Me"; commentary for Self-Inflicted Wounds, Part 2: "Wait for the Wheel" by Claudia Black; commentary for "Eat Me" by Guy Gross; Deleted Scenes; Original TV Promos; Season 3 promo created for the Television Critics' Association; The Farscape Chronicles; Alien Encounters; Cool Farscape facts; Updated character histories.
