TV Guide have released their descriptions of the two parts of the upcoming epic mini-series
Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars.
Please be aware that the descriptions contain
spoilers which some people will consider worse than others.
The description for Part One, airing
Sunday, October 17 at 9pm EST on Sci Fi (in the US), reads:
"A richly entertaining last hurrah for Moya's crew kicks off by resolving the series finale's jolting cliff-hanger. As the two-part 2004 cable film opens, the toadlike Rygel is coasting underwater, gobbling the shattered remains of Crichton and Aeryn (Ben Browder, Claudia Black) like goldfish food. Luckily, the lovers are restored to normal just as Scorpius (Wayne Pygram) -- still coveting the wormhole secrets in Crichton's mind -- sparks war between the Peacekeepers and the Scarrans. The result is a riveting mix of sly humour, slam-bang thrills and poignant drama."
For Part Two, airing
Monday, October 18 at 9pm EST on Sci Fi, their description reads:
"Conclusion. The impending birth of his and Aeryn's child prompts Crichton (Ben Browder) to contact the Ancients and plot an escape from the Scarrans. But his efforts to harness the power of the wormhole and end the war prove costly."
