Hey folks, if you notice spam like postings, PLEASE email mods/admin about them and PLEASE DO NOT REPLY to them. I'm doing my best to keep that kind of garbage out of this forum, but as I'm the only one around lately, it's hard for me to keep up with every single post or topic.

Dani was there in the beginning for me...spent many e-mails discussing episodes because I started mid season 2 and was going back to season one as quickly as I could and going forward one week at a time. I know Dani has a full time job now after graduating, however to have this site up and running still... I cannot thank him enough so from time to time I remind anyone about the Amazon.com link on the front page and the royalties Dani gets goes into offsetting some of the costs here!

I am so pleased to read newbies posts here and that Farscape lives on and on or as a Scaper friend of mine in NJ says SFL (Scaper For Life)

Hey ladies and gents, I appreciate that you all are sending emails about spam. But (you knew that was coming...) PLEASE, PLEASE put FSWorld in the subject line of your emails so we know NOT to delete any emails that come with the word "Spam" in the subject line from email addresses we do not recognize or know. I almost deleted an email today from one of you kind souls.

there is more and more of this stuff coming from everywhere, mostly advertising smut and stuff that people accidentally open thinking it has something to do with farscape, and we're horrified. i wish there was something we could do to help

We've disabled the ability to add pictures (hence the funkiness of most of the posts nowdays) since a lot of the spammers were using disgusting porn pics.

How can you help, don't respond to any of them and please continue to be patient. We take care of it as quickly as we can, but with only 3 of us really here off and on during the day/week it might not happen as quickly as some think or wish it would.

If it doesn't look like it's FS related, don't open it. Thankfully most of the spam hasn't tried to disguise itself as FS related.

I though that with the new page spam was difficult to be posted!! I remember talking about it some years ago!!

We'll continue being aware and notifiying any spam post we find.

Those who love Farscape and have respect for thew show don't do that kined of thigs.

Unfortunately it is not set up to block spammers since some of the folks who've spammed here seem to be legitimate fans of the show. Then there are the ones that recently posted tons of porn type spam that I deleted as fast as I could. It looks like I'm the only mod/admin who's still keeping an eye on things here, so please all be patient as I'm not always able to delete stuff as soon as it's posted.
