idea re another way to scape the planet

as I am an avid fun runner I was thinking if there are any more international fun runners doing a running event ie new york, london marathons or somethink to that effect, I myself am doing the uk great north run and I was thinking maybe we could do something to make farscape known, ie all wear scaper t's or something like that or even if anyone knows a charity that any of the cast/crew are supporters of we could do it for them ie wear a scaper t and have the charity emblem on it or something to that effect. considering these events are often televised well what do you think or am I just being silly

I jog regularly, but have never attempted a long/serious event. But I would definitely be tempted to do something like this - would be fun, would meet fellow scapers and would do some good for the show/charity.. But a marathon would be way too much for me...

we wouldn't have to do a marathon per se as there are loads of little runs held all over (see other post 'any fun runners among us' to name just a few in my area) the great north run is 13 miles though and I often end up walking it, there are also often people from all over the world take part in it too, sadly all places are currently taken apart from those held by various charities that haven't yet been snapped up, thay also generally provide vest/t's for their runners too so you could always stick a little or big scaper emblem on it
