Crikey, it's gone a bit quiet, hasn't it? Hope all of the Scoobs out there are OK. Someone needs to get a bit creative and get the stories going again (and please don't ask me to do it!)

Don't worry Sandworm. The same thing's happened to me before. Guess we're all just having a dry spell at the same time. Something will trigger somebody's imagination and we'll all start writing again.

Sorry all. I've recently started a new job and it's an extremly BUSY job so by the time I get home, I'm too pooped to write. Once I get back into the swing of things (the whole working now as apposed to being unemployed) hopefully I'll feel more creative.

Also, for me I tend to be less creative in the winter months as my brain doesn't like the gray and rain (although this winter has been fabulous with all the sunshine. ). Hopefully spring will bring more creativity to us all!

I have to agree, life has been very distracting of late. Even my furtile mind seems to have run dry. Sadly it'll take more than a couple of us to get a good story going. The Kitten and other NPC tales don't seem to graner much response either so I'm fresh out of ideas unless you want to simply do something silly maybe. Of course silly can be tough as well. Do I detect a bit of burn out going on?

For me, it's not so much burn out, just that I have a hard time keeping up with the MANY stories going on at once.

It's been busy over here and my creativity has dried up.
It's tax time in the US, I am done with mine, but Matthew keeps putting off doing his. He's very busy these days.

Work is fine. Like I said before, I'm slowly going through stuff and seeing what I can do without if we move this summer. There's quite a pile of things now. Some will just be thrown out. Some will go on auction on eBay. Some will probably be donated to a library or something. Anybody wants some old,old Andre Norton books?

Matthew quit his temp job at the mortgage place. He is now working for Primerica. It's a "be your own boss" kind of business, sorta like Amway for financial services. The start up takes a while, he needs to take classes and takes tests to become licensed to sell life insurance and loans/securities, etc. But he's very happy to be doing this kind of work. They focus on middle-class/middle-income families who have a lot of debt. Primerica essentially does a lot of debt consolidation or refinancing of mortgages and stuff so the families are in better financial shape. Matthew makes money from the companies that he refers to the families too, it's part finder's fees, part commission.

The boys are good, they are growing zits... the hair in funny places hasn't started growing yet. They've also reached the human vacuum cleaner stage.

Next week I'll be quite busy at work. One of the people in my very small department is going on vacation all week. So it's overtime galore for me! Yay, more money! But I'll be very tired and cranky when I get home, so don't expect any stories from me next week.

Oh and I just got a Gmail account, like last night. Email me if you want the addy. I intend to use it for "professional" things (like on my resume or business contacts) so my real name is actually part of the email address. But I'm keeping my other 5 email addresses too, though I'll probably phase out the yahoo and netscape accounts eventually and stick with Gmail, Mac, and Hotmail.

Right, quick report from the world of Emram!

I'm fine, life is good, just very busy! The wedding plans have calmed down for a while, although I doubt it will be long before they start getting hectic again, but to fill that hole, I am now helping to run a basketball club!

It's been a long time since I played, so my bones and muscles are protesting about it, but it's been fun so far, and we've barely got started. I'm not too sure I suit (or deserve!) a coaches whistle yet, but we'll sow how things go!

Sorry I've not been on in such a long time, but I do try to keep in touch (however briefly) via the Group, and I always enjoy reading your messages.

Sunny, congrats on the job!

Rag, hope Virginia is still fabulous.

Ed, hope your exams go well, and don't let Virtual Season 5 take over from revision - if you don't revise, you'll end up like me, several years behind all of your friends!
