Interesting....

Somewhere, back in the cluttered recesses of what passed for one of creations greatest minds, well in this same said minds opinion anyway, and that is afterall what counts when the mind is controlling the fingers that do the typing...., an alarm clock buzzed and the mind gave itself a mental yawn and stretch.

Certain dreams and fantasies were locked away for safe keeping least they escape into the world and make some unsuspecting Scoobette blush or smack him. Fledgeling thoughts were lined up into coherant order, taking their places in files ranging anywhere from ludicrist to the sublime. Emotional wreckage was watered and cared for, childlike needs given a lolipop to keep them quiet and the mind awoke...

Ragnar yawned, tasted something like major stale mouth and popped open an eyelid. Once to the right, and once to the left, popping the kinks in his neck he gave the other heavy lid and try and blinked.

'This is new' a part of his mind registered. 'Stringy and old'

Cobwebs were everywhere! In the room, on the furnishings, on himself?

Daring a glance to the either side...just how long had he been dormant here?

[Sandworm]

Sandworm looked around at the stil sleeping bodies of the scoobs, and wondered how much longer hewould have to wait.

Then Ragnar stirred. He sat up and looked around.

"Welcome back to the land of the living, my friend" said Sandworm.
"Whaaaa???" Ragnar half yawned.
"I'm glad you're awake," Sandworm replied.

Ragnar looked at Sandworm and blinked a time or two, gee dry eyes again!

"Me too," Looking again at the cobwebs. "Somebodies magic go astray again?" Grasping a handful of the webby stuff...

[Sandworm]

"Yeah, I think so." Sandworm had been sitting there for what felt like for ever. he stood up and stretched his legs. "We can't go anywhere, though, Rag," he said, "for two reasons: one, the other scoobs are still asleep, and I'm not that strong, and, unless you have been working out without telling me, you aren't either, and two, this web is..." achoo! "I'm allergic to it. I can't move through it."

[RagnarRB]

"You cann't?"

Sandworm shrugged. It was a new one on him too, usually he didn't have much trouble getting around, well as long as it wasn't in water.

Carefully, as to test the theory, Ragnar slowly rose to his feet. Interesting, felt mmuch like normal cobwebs to him. He began to clean the rest of them off himself.

[chryse]

Warmth.

There was a spot of sunlight down in these dusty halls. How it got in nobody knew. But it was there. The sunbeam slowly moved over the scoobs one by one, waking them from their sleep, glinting golden over the cobwebs... what's this? The webs seem to be slowly melting away.

[Sandworm]

"thanb goobness for dab" said a slightly bunged up Sandworm.
Hey, Chryse, people. how are you all?

[JilaCosa]

"I'm okay." Jila shook her head and the cobwebs fell from her hair. "My wrist hurts though." Looking at her wrist Jila found a rather large bruise that was already turning a sickly green and yellow. "Can't imagine how that happened. Is anybody else hurt? Sandworm, you sound terrible. Maybe Rae has some medicinal herbs that will help. Any idea what happened?" Jila's mind raced as she tried to find answers to the multitude of questions that arouse.

"Slow down Jila." Ragnar chuckled knowing as he did that Jila tended to get stressed when woken suddenly. "We'll figure it out."

[RagnarRB]

He looked around...well at least the four of them might. It looked like only He, Sandworm,Chryse and Jila had awaken from, well just what should he call it? Protracted slumber?

He reached over and gave Rae a gentle poke...."I don't know Jila, it doesn't look like Rae's going to be of much help."

"But...."

He shrugged. Reaching up to her neck he checked for a pulse. Maybe they better check them all just to be sure.

[chryse]

Chryse blinked slowly and a lot.
"How odd." she thought, but didn't say. Her mouth wasn't up to moving yet. She watched Ragnar check pulses and thought that she should get up and help too, but couldn't quite manage it.

"How is everyone Rag?" asked Jila.

"Everyone seems to have a pulse" he replied.

"Good, should we try to wake them up?" Jila asked, trying to get up.

[Sandworm]

"it's no use. I tried and tried. I've been awake for hours," said Sandworm.
"You just seem to have to wake from it naturally. Which is very boring."

[KaraS]

"Hibernation." Kara said, blinking and sitting up.

"Hibernation?" Sandworm asked.

"Yes, hibernation. We've been sleeping away the cold nasty weather. Now that it's spring, we're waking up. Does anybody have anything caffinated to drink?"

[SunKrux]

Who the frell turned on the light?! Sunny thought as the sunbeam lit her face. Trying to throw an arm over her eyes, she attempted to turn onto her stomach, but something stopped her.

What the frell?! Why can't I move? Oh for the love of Chilnac, please don't let it be one of those dreams where you can't move or scream. I seriously hate those. Sunny wondered as she slowly opened her eyes. Once her eyes had adjusted to the sudden onslaught of light, she realized that cobwebs where holding her prisoner.

"FOR THE LOVE OF CHILNAC, GET THIS DREN OFF ME!"

[RagnarRB]

"Good morning to you too sunshine." Ragnar managed with a slight lopsided grin.

Hmmmm...Sunny didn't like cobwebs? Had potential!

"Here, sit up, it's not that bad."

[Sandworm]

"hey, Subby, its dot dat bad. Ab leasd you donb .... AAAAAAAAAAAAAACHOOOOOOOO!" said Sandworm
