Can anyone help my friend with this.

She says:

'I've forgotten my password. Twice I've asked for a new password. I get the e mail, activate the new one but when I try to use it I get the message that it doesn't match my user name.

What am I doing wrong?'

Anyone out there got any suggestions?

What email address is she using? If it's either of these:
@hotmail.com
@msn.com
@yahoo.com
@gmail.com

One of the admins will have to unlock the ban on those email addresses to help her out. I'm not saying that is the problem, but it could be. We've had to crack down on stuff like that do to all the frellin' spam we keep getting hit with here.

I'll pass this on to Dani (the website owner/master) and hopefully he can help your friend.

Hang on a tick.

Have her try again now. I will leave the emails unbanned for a day and then they will go back to being banned. It's one of the ways we use to cut down on the spam.

Unfortunately she can't get to a computer at the moment due to the fact she is in hospital.

My friend is now back home and feeling much better.

Hello there.

Thanks very much for your help, my friend has now successfully logged on and managed to post on the Farscape Virtual Season 5 thread.

By the way on the thread "Fanfic writers needed for Farscape Virtual Season 5", we have had 3 suspicious postings in the last month or so, from Tahoor and Melo. Is there any easy way of alerting the moderators to these sort of postings?

Anyway thanks again for your helping in solving Mars posting problems.

I'm glad your friend has been able to log onto the board. I think one of the admins will replace the ban on the email addresses above shortly.
